Happenings

We watched the opening ceremonies to the Winter Olympics while this was going on outside:

It's been 14 years since snow has come to the area.  Which warranted a celebration.

So I celebrated.  Like Nell.  In her husband's shoes.  Like an idiot.

The boys were asleep.  We tried to wake Jack up by bringing him to the back porch to see the snow, but he climbed out of John's arms and dropped to the floor asleep.  By 8am the next morning, we could hear the dripping already, and this was all that was left.

Jack was still excited.

A week later, we had a special visitor:  Cheeky McCheekerton!

This is Ava.  Our niece.  The boys' only girl cousin.  She's very squeezable.

And here are her parents.  My bro, Matthew, sis in law, Melissa, and niece dog, Fergie.

Jack and Finn were tripping that weekend.  They honestly did and said some of the funniest things.  None of which I can remember right now.  But it was fun.  They enjoyed Ava so much...

Here's Jack speaking in baby talk to Ava.  He's only 4 but realizes that it doesn't matter what you're saying to a baby as long as it's in a sweet tone.  Here, Jack was motioning and saying, "Chop, chop, chop."

Cuzin' Luvin'

This picture was taken this morning.  Here is Finntastic...or should I say Fratastic with that mop of a hair do he has going on.

Happy almost Spring.
