We're Bloggin'

After seeing that everyone has a blog going these days, we finally decided to join the masses. The pictures of Jack, while cute, just aren't enough. Now you can see him and read about what he's doing and what we're doing. Jack's now 4 and 1/2 months old. He is weighing about 16 pounds and is close to rolling over. He's done it once, but apparently didn't know how cool it was and has decided to delay the second go-round. His current tricks include "scooting" around his crib and kicking his mobile, eating green beans, and laughing. Pretty advanced, huh?

I went back to work last week at the pediatrician's office. I'll be working Thursdays and Fridays. Jack is staying at home with our awesome nanny, Jennie Krogulski, while I'm away. We were blessed enough to meet her through our church, and we think she's the best!

John's busy with work and working out. He's training to climb Mont Blanc (the tallest mountain in Europe) with several of his closest friends this summer. He is VERY excited about the challenge and pretty much talks about it all the time, downloads pictures on his desktops of various faces of the mountain (always the scariest angles), makes purchases of every kind of mountain gear you can imagine with the explanation, "it's for the trip", and promises that it's safe. David Turner, John's childhood friend and experienced climber described the trip as "safe......ish."

Tune in soon for more from the Usserys.
